It's March?!

It's March?!?! Where have I been? It's been forever since I've written here.

I have been entering sweeps sporadically....just a few small wins.

Most of my time recently as been spent gathering all my records together in preparation for taxes. BLECH! This is going to be a royal pain....hubby's job hunt, long distance move, home sale & purchase is going to make it quite interesting!

Thanks to those of you who have asked about my mom. She's doing much better than she was this past fall but she still has lingering health issues that keep her from living alone. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts.

My 18 year old son has moved out and gotten his first apartment. I am torn about it all.....he's not quite finished high school and seems to want to grow up too fast. I hope he comes to his senses soon! I remember being a teenager and wanting to leave the nest but not before I was finished with school!

As for resolutions, I haven't made any. I just hope that 2007 is less stressful than 2006 was. At least there is no move planned, my mom's health seems to be improving and hubby likes his new job. If I were to make a resolution, it would be to make my site easier to run and use. I know though that to do this would be a huge undertaking! We'll see how it goes.

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season! We don't have any big plans this year. Hubby has to work Christmas Eve night and sleep at least part of Christmas Day.

I'm just glad that my mom is still with us! She has had a rough year! The stress of moving, having a sick parent was taking its toll.

Nothing much new here.....still suffering burn-out with entering sweeps! I really need some motivation! Please post some of your wins here to help motivate me. I did win $50 at eZanga in November! That was a nice win! I've also won quite a few times at Winzy. Hubby won a PC game from Gamer Informer & Intel.

Nothing much going on here. I'm still doing most updates on the weekend but will try to do a midweek update on November 1st. I can't believe it but my son with be 18 on the 1st! He was almost a Halloween baby! Where does the time go?!?

My mom has been in and out of the hospital for the past month or so. I'm hoping her health will continue to improve and she'll live a long, happy life! She's been through so much since my dad passed 2 years ago. Please continue to send her good thoughts! It's been greatly appreciated.

Spammers are driving me NUTS!

Spammers! YUCK! I am going to have to change the site's email address again! I end up having to change the address about once a year. 90% of the email received there is now spam! I wish I could figure out a way to keep them away! Any other suggestions? I use Mozilla Thunderbird.

Next week, my schedule is changing again. I will be doing site updates on the weekends rather than during the week.

New updates today! 9/24

I finally got some time today to do an update. Maybe I'll even get the chance to enter a few sweeps myself.

My mom is still in the hospital....it's been over 2 weeks now. She had to have emergency surgery on top of everything else that she's had to deal with. It's been really hard on everyone. Please keep us in your thoughts.

In the middle of all of this, I've been sick & my husband is away on a business trip. I really miss having him here.

Are any of you watching any of the new fall shows? We've been watching the usuals and a few new ones. So far we like Vanished and Standoff. Of course, I love Grey's Anatomy and Prison Break. :)
